Each commission is developed from first principles, balancing tension, proportion, and movement to create a silhouette that feels inevitable.
Every bespoke journey begins with structure.
Before aesthetics, before fabric selection, I construct a toile a technical blueprint engineered in cotton to test tension, balance, and proportion. By working directly on the body, I analyse weight distribution, negative space, and movement. The garment is refined until it does not merely “fit” , it aligns.
This is not decoration.
This is engineering.
I lead every project independently from concept sketch to couture finish.
At my Kingston studio, your vision is translated into a structural blueprint. We explore silhouette logic, textile behaviour, and spatial proportion before a single final cut is made. You are not choosing from options. We are constructing a garment that exists nowhere else.
To maintain technical precision and creative clarity, I accept a limited number of commissions each year.
Draping is the architecture of the fit. By working directly on the form, I ensure the garment moves in harmony with the body, creating a silhouette that is as functional as it is aesthetic.
Every bespoke journey begins with a toile—a technical mock-up in cotton to engineer the perfect tension and balance before a single cut is made on the final fabric.
