MEET NIKKI SUU
I’m Nikki, a fashion designer and the founder of SUU Bespoke, a private bridal atelier in Kingston upon Thames.
My work includes bespoke wedding dresses, bridal restyling and alterations. With years of experience in fashion design, pattern cutting and dressmaking, I work on each garment from both a designer’s and a maker’s point of view.
Whether we are creating a new dress or changing one you already own, I look at the shape, fit and details that matter to you.
DESIGN, CUT & CRAFT
I studied fashion design and costume design, and later completed a Master’s degree in Fashion Entrepreneurship & Innovation at London College of Fashion.
My experience in pattern cutting, draping and dressmaking began long before university.
Today, I bring these skills together in my work, from original couture designs to bridal commissions and detailed alterations.
FIT IS NOT JUST ABOUT SIZE
A dress can be the right size and still not fit properly.
Sometimes the problem is the shape, balance or support, rather than the size itself.
I look at how the whole dress sits on your body before deciding what needs to be changed.
The aim is a dress that fits well and feels comfortable to wear.
